Lib Dems Fly their Flags during North Thanet's Bank Holiday

George Cunningham and the Lib Dem team flying the flag in MargateNorth Thanet Lib Dems were out in force throughout the three-day Bank Holiday, displaying their colours through Margate, Westgate, Birchington, Herne Bay and the rural parts of the constituency.

"With so many undecided, we must remind people that they have a choice this week to vote for a stronger economy and a fairer society," explained Lib Dem parliamentary candidate, George Cunningham, who spoke to many shoppers and day-trippers during the three day spell. "Voting Lib Dem is a vote for Thanet remaining open to the world, with all the opportunities that this brings".

Amongst those accompanying prospective MP George Cunningham in the procession was newly-elected Westgate Parish Councillor Martyn Pennington who, along with his wife Cheri Pennington, is also standing for Thanet District Council at Thursday's elections.
